Fifteen years ago, I was busy making quite a mess of my life when God called my bluff and initiated a great and glorious rescue. He introduced me to the crucible of pain, and I learned to dive deeply into my union with Him. That’s when I discovered this thing called ‘grace’. Ever since then, my passion has been to walk alongside those who are weak, wary, and wounded in the body of Christ and to help others do the same.

Our first ten years of matrimony were more like ‘combat training’ than ‘marital bliss’, but we wouldn’t trade that hard-earned education for anything in the world. Besides, we got our three children out of those fiery years. As a family of five, we are living our happily ever after in the Carolinas with my mom, stepdad, and two furry friends.

My husband, aka ‘Captain Courageous’, and I believe in the local church and the discipleship mandate. We have joined together with some incredibly brave men and women to mend hearts and equip the saints. On any given Sunday you will find us among a band of blue polo-clad world changers.
