Welcome to the Mooring Post! I'm Janalee, a shameless lover of Jesus and living proof that God heals the brokenhearted and pursues prodigals.
I was busy making quite a mess of my life when God called my bluff and initiated a great and glorious rescue. He introduced me to the crucible of pain, and I learned to dive deeply into my union with Him. That’s when I discovered this thing called ‘grace’. Ever since then, my passion has been to walk alongside those who are weak, wary, and wounded in the body of Christ and to help others do the same.
Today I serve as a therapist, Director of Care at Crossroads Church, and Executive Director of CareCola, where I help weave together counseling, theology, and community care to bring healing and hope. My joy is equipping caregivers and creating spaces where grace, truth, and emotional safety meet.
