My Counseling Philosophy
Welcome. I am honored that you are considering inviting me into your story. I know it takes courage to reach out for help, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate pain, uncertainty, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach to counseling is holistic and collaborative, attending to the emotional, relational, spiritual, and practical dimensions of life while honoring your unique experiences, values, and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR for trauma and distressing experiences, parts work to help clients better understand and integrate different aspects of themselves, and Gottman and Prepare/Enrich tools to strengthen couples and relationships. As a Christian counselor, my faith shapes my understanding of healing and human flourishing, but I respect each person's journey and seek to create a safe, compassionate space where growth, healing, and deeper wholeness can emerge. Whether you are facing anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, spiritual questions, or simply feel stuck, my hope is to help you move toward greater freedom, connection, and the life you were created to live.
